Allow me to utilize SSRS PowerView just like I can with Excel PowerView and pin reports to the dashboard, however with SSRS, I would like to connect to on-prem data sources

Hi Doug, thanks for the suggestion. We have another suggestion for connections to on-prem data sources. Can you elaborate on the SSRS Power View requirement? Do you need to upload existing rdlx reports?

Allow me to pin a filter to the dashboard that can be associated with one or more pinned dashboard KPIs.

Adding my vote and comment to this. This seems like a very simple/basic feature that should be included in dashboards. Why wouldn't you include this feature? It's a simple thing but also a big deal to users.

Dashboards are expected to work in live with the reports but if sync slicers working well with the reports does not work for Dashboard then it makes the feature less attractive.

I think it's basic requirement for Dashboard to set filter values for all reports which can be accessed through it. So please consider adding global slicers/filters.

Being able to include filters and sliders is a basic dashboard need. Please add this requirement to your product improvement cycle.

RE: PowerView rdlx connecting to on-prem data source

To add my vote and comment, please consider adding slicers to dashboards. I setup all my report slicers to sync as needed but I can't believe this does not function in Dashboards. I finally switch all my users to dashboards and folks are frustrated they can no longer sync when viewing a dashboard with multiple tiles. This is really challenging and defeats the purpose of syncing slicers for data consumers. Please please please reconsider. This is an important function.

RE: PowerView rdlx connecting to on-prem data source

If slicers don't update all visuals and metrics in a dashboard, then the dashboard is worthless.

Extremely disappointing since a dashboard makes things much easier for customers.

Please fix this issue. Syncing slicers across multiple report pages is an essential feature that must flow through transparently to dashboards.

RE: PowerView rdlx connecting to on-prem data source

We really, really, really, should be able to sync slicers on one dashboard tile to another. What would be even more helpful, is that if you make a change to your slicer selection on the report view, when you come back to the dashboard the corresponding data viz there should be updated to reflect the new slicer selection.

If dashboard is just a static representation of our data viz, why don't we just show the static data viz in powerpoints /on PDFs? The Q&A function alone is not sufficient to justify the usefulness of the dashboard.
