Allow me to utilize SSRS PowerView just like I can with Excel PowerView and pin reports to the dashboard, however with SSRS, I would like to connect to on-prem data sources

Hi Doug, thanks for the suggestion. We have another suggestion for connections to on-prem data sources. Can you elaborate on the SSRS Power View requirement? Do you need to upload existing rdlx reports?

RE: PowerView rdlx connecting to on-prem data source
Slicers and filters need to be applied to dashboard tiles otherwise it defeats their purpose. I would have to create 272 separate dashboards for all of my schools. Please, please find a way to add this capacity to the dashboard element!!!
RE: PowerView rdlx connecting to on-prem data source
At the very least, the dashboard needs to refresh based on the filters applied in the report page that it came from.
What is the point of a static dashboard? Absolutely nothing, but a statement of historical fact, which can be accomplished by creating a PDF.

Dashboard won't be useful if filters are not available, tableau is much better in this. Filters make the dashboards interactive and dynamic. How can we miss this functionality
RE: PowerView rdlx connecting to on-prem data source
without global level filter dashboard is worthless
RE: PowerView rdlx connecting to on-prem data source
whats the point of having a dashboard then? these are the first things people see ? if you need to filter by reports first they become superfluous. You are effectively making dashboards slicer and variable independent, which makes then pretty much worthless or limits their usage substantially
RE: PowerView rdlx connecting to on-prem data source
Too bad ! Very important feature, dashboard are just useless without this possibilty !
RE: PowerView rdlx connecting to on-prem data source
wow...was going to use the dashboard feature for an upcoming project but if you cant even apply any global filters (date range being most important) we will have to look at alternatives
RE: PowerView rdlx connecting to on-prem data source
In a similar vein we have ‘Live’ pages on dashboards that have slicers to allow users to focus on their preferred Geographical Regions. These slicers do not persist between viewing of the dashboard which seems an oversight given that this feature was added to reports some months ago.
Are dashboard features are being overlooked? Seems odd given that they're the obvious starting point for users interaction in a PowerBI session!
Please reconsider this issue and making dashboard filters persistent.

Please reconsider adding this

PLEASE ADD THIS. my reports are meaningful without global toggles.
