Allow me to utilize SSRS PowerView just like I can with Excel PowerView and pin reports to the dashboard, however with SSRS, I would like to connect to on-prem data sources

Hi Doug, thanks for the suggestion. We have another suggestion for connections to on-prem data sources. Can you elaborate on the SSRS Power View requirement? Do you need to upload existing rdlx reports?

RE: PowerView rdlx connecting to on-prem data source
I need a global filter applied for a Budget filter as we have a forecast cycle update every quarter. We have already had to create a dynamic filter so you can swap the cycle version on the legend but if you change the report level filter on the report the pin won't update with the latest cycle.

Please add this feature...is it really so difficult!

Please add, this is really needed.
RE: PowerView rdlx connecting to on-prem data source
When exactly are we likely to get this feature?

People have been asking this feature to be enabled on dashboards since 2014 and nothing in sight ? is in't this Aug 2018

Having this only makes sense from an end user perspective. Why click on the same year slicers in multiple dashboard reports when one dashboard slicer could do the same thing. Minimize multiple clicks down to one click for the end user.
RE: PowerView rdlx connecting to on-prem data source
Agree! It would ease the requirement of the report builder to anticipate how the end user would like to parse the data.
