Hello PBI team!
There is no option in the Format (Paint Brush) Menu for a Map to change the color of the text of the Legend.
Therefore when you use a Black Page Background all you see is the colored dots but the text blends in with the background.
Other visualizations - pie and bar charts, etc have this option!
In the Format Menu (Paint Brush) for a Map it is the top option LEGEND - once you turn it on - there's no way to change the color - HOWEVER in pie charts, bar charts, etc... there is Color Option under the Legend Menu.

Please note that I'm talking about => the Color of the TEXT of the Legend !
NOT about assigning different Data colors which is obviously possible.
The color of the TEXT next to each Data Color point cannot be changed.
As mentioned in the original post note that this option exists for pie, bar charts, etc..
