Power BI Desktop linux version

It's hard to convince colleagues to use Power BI in case they using linux. With a Linux version (ubuntu?) of the Power BI Desktop they would not need to install a VM or similar.

Please make power bi on linux, I created a windows server only to install power bi desktop and the data gateway, I only have CentOS servers in my organization...

Every major server in the world runs on Linux because it is the best OS for that task. Please make it happen.

Chop chop microsoft, get to work. Data science lives in Linux and we need PowerBI to make results available to the entire organization. Switching to Windows just to build a report is not the way it should work.
