In visuals, we can use Display Units to format number or currency for example Thousands ("K"), Millions ("M"), Billions ("B").
In some language or culture these abbreviations are not suitable.
Instead of (K, M, B) we can change configuration to (M, MM, MMM) or (M, Mn, Md) (K, M, G).
It will be great to have customization of visual display Units.

RE: Customize the "Display Units property in a visual.
All of our other Board reporting displays "millions" as "MM". Disappointing that there is no option to change within the tool.
RE: Customize the "Display Units property in a visual.
We need custom settings in the Field Formatting section like we have in Excel. I want to summarise my numbers to Thousands but i do not always want to see the "k" after the number. It creates a lot of unnecessary clutter on the visualisation.
Please make this happen.

I totally Agree

Agreed, when reporting data sizes, would like to change to KB, MB, GB, TB. Even the ability to hide would work.

An for digital sizes K, M, G, T, P, E is correct.

I totally agree.
When creating reports for accountants they want M, MM, MMM instead of K, M, B.
So the ability to change these abbreviations should be possible to define at the report level, and should overide language settings.
Creating custom measures doesn't cover all needs, ie. values on Y-axis of charts need to be numbers, not a texts.

Same problem here, in Indonesia
Miilions are represent as Jt (Juta)
Bililions are represent as M (Miliar)
Most people will miss understand M in power bi stands for million, but in Indonesia M stands for Miliar (Billions)
If we can customize the Display Units, that will be great
