Dashboard Usage Metrics: Views by User Inaccurate

Hello,

Dashboard Usage Metrics is telling me that one of my users has viewed a certain dashboard 12 times in the last 3 months. Impossible. This person looks at the dashboard a few times a day every 2 - 3 days. Is the usage report wrong? Is this affecting all my users? How are views calculated?

This likely should be a support ticket, but this is my 5th version of this post due to issues with the submit issue interface including attaching a picture and registering.
