It's truly amazing to see some high quality community-developed custom visuals. However, I have to import the custom visuals every time I need them in a new PowerBI report using the desktop app. Please allow custom visuals to be imported only once into a standard PowerBI templates repository and be able to use them going forward without a need to reimport them every time.

This is on our roadmap. I'll update when we have more concrete timeline.

Yes, an import should work across dashboards and shoud be available for any dashboard opened on the same machine. Saves a lot of time and also when you may not have an active internet and your data is on the intranet or the same machine.

Option to auto update custom visuals, or notification that an update is available, would be very useful along with this library approach

Would be great to have an central organization custom visual repository and import once by admins and all internal business users can then benefit from there.
