    It would be very helpful to have this feature available for SSAS cube connection reports.

    Absolutely necessary when creating Power BI content based on a live SSAS connection. The metaphor here would be Excel PivotTables - which offer that functionality for both, fields and measures - and even scoped to a particular table/chart ("visual" in Power BI).

    Currently considering creating a dedicated perspective with Power BI friendly names. But even that has the big disadvantage that it only applies globally and can't even be scoped to just a report. In practice, you'll oftentimes need to alias certain members specifically for the context of a given report.

    Right now we have to duplicate measure to rename. No efficient and creating waste

    we really need this functionality to use the live cube data. It reduce the manual refresh efforts.
