When you want to change multiple slicers in a report with a large dataset, it can be annoying that the calculations is started with every slicer change. I'd like an option on report (page) level where I can indicate that I only want to apply slicers after clicking an 'Apply slicers' button. This way, the server hosting the datasets will be used more efficiently and the reports will probably load faster.

I think what you're asking for is already in the product - at least at report level? In Power BI desktop, in File -> Options & Settings -> Options -> Query reduction tick the "Show an Apply button and only send queries once for " Slicer selections checkbox
