Add a default to the time slicer so the report always defaults to the most recent date available when the report opens and continue to provide the flexibility for a user to change the date.

RE: Default Date Slicer Funtionality

We are testing Power BI in our company and this is one of the few things that should be possible. We need this function for so many reports!

There are multiple ideas for this that someone needs to consolidate. This is such a basic reporting requirement that we shouldn't have to use bookmarks or other filters to get around.

RE: Default Date Slicer Funtionality

This is what I am looking for with regards to the start date on a time slicer. Ideally i could set the first date to be 12 calendar months before the current date so that this isn't a manual task every time I load up the report

RE: Default Date Slicer Funtionality

I would love this functionality. It would be great if my consumers just sees the latest info on load and pick a later date if they choose to do so.

Right now, I'm adjusting this from the workspace>report on a daily basis just to show the latest data.
