Reports run locally support parameter changes in Power BI Desktop.

This should also be allowed in the version uploaded to Power BI Report Server.

The purpose is to change Parameters used in Variables in the Queries.

RE: Change parameter in Power BI Report Server

Yes, we need in PBI Report Server, it will save time.
Now I need to change parameters in desktop and upload again.
In PowerBI Service we can modify parameters directly in dataset settings but not in management of Report Server yet.

RE: Change parameter in Power BI Report Server

This is much needed. SSRS has this option.

This would be much appreciated. It makes sense to have a way to expose at least a part of the parameters for user modification.

I support 'Power BI Online Query Parameters' - what do you think? https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/13820190-power-bi-online-query-parameters

Yes. I support this idea. It will save the time of users and developers when change parameters in few clicks without Power BI Desktop interaction.

RE: Change parameter in Power BI Report Server

I agree. In the cloud service this is already possible.
With Power Bi Report you have to open the report with the desktop client, change the parameters, and save a new version. One of the problems is that not all the users are allowed to do so. And this is uncomfortable.
