I have a Date field in Power BI Desktop that is formatted in the UK format of DD/MM/YYYY.
When I publish this to PowerBI.com the Date format reverts to US format of MM/DD/YYYY even if the field I use is formatted in the Modelling
If I choose a different language in PowerBI.com, for instance Portuguese which uses my desired DD/MM/YYYY format then it reformats the Date as wanted but of course the interface is now in another language.
Therefore I need English (UK) and English (US) options in the Settings window

RE: English (UK) and English (US) options for Powerbi.com
Another work around is to change the language settings of the pbix file itself.
Go to PBIX > File > Options and settings > Options > Current file > Regional settings > English (United Kingdom)
This will ensure that regardless of which machine is used to view the published dashboard, it will retain English (United Kingdom)
See link for more information.

RE: English (UK) and English (US) options for Powerbi.com
The fact that English means English (US) is very frustrating. At a minimum the Language dropdown menu should be update to reflect the associated setting will be US rather than UK.
I stumbled on the work around using default browser language.

Power Bi online should have English (UK) option

I've now found a work-around
In the Power BI settings set the Language to: “Default (browser language)” and ensure the browser is set to “English (United Kingdom)”
I’m using Google Chrome to allow me to support multiple users, so I have to set each user to this in chrome://settings/
Still Microsoft should offer an "English (United Kingdom)" option

Would also be good if PBI in general was more aware of how most people outside of US format dates.
