Vertical (current day) line on charts.
On charts you often want to show the current date as a vertical line.
I know it is a small improvement, but we can do this in almost all other reporting Technologies.

Wow.. this 5 years old? I really would like to see vertical or reference lines.
The analytics tab allows constants by no vertical lines?
There are multiple searches suggesting a hack, which I find very limited.

OkViz has it for free, but to remove the watermarks I have to pay 180/yr for 3 licenses min.

custom markers would be great whether current day or milestone set by the user
RE: Vertical (current day) line on charts
The general feature of vertical reference lines would be fantastic. If easier to implement, a Date-only option would cover most of my use cases, especially in light of the (awesome) dynamic date slicers. In Excel, a common design pattern is to annotate events that happened on some date. We create a dynamically scaled vertical reference line using a series in an X-Y scatter plot.

I need it, not just for current date but for a given date (come from data)
