On a Matrix visualization, we have the ability to export the underlying data to Excel. And that works. But it seems to display only some of the columns from the source table - not all.

From feedback on community forums, I was told "only columns which are used to create the visual can be exported on Power BI Desktop, while exporting data on Power BI service can export the columns which are used to create the visual together with all “Text” type columns."

That is very restrictive - can this be enhanced to allow "all" columns (regardless of data type) to be exported to a file when exporting underlying data from a visualization?

Agreed, it should behave like Pivot Tables in Excel.

Similar to how Excel power pivots allow (upon double click on the numbers) all columns to be exported
