Slicers should auto collapse

Slicers should auto collapse after a selection is made. It should stay open if Ctrl is hit to make multiple selections. Having to click out of a slicer in order to close it is tiresome and makes reports with many slicers clunky.

RE: Slicers should auto collapse

Simply auto close if Single Select is on, and not to auto close if Single Select is off.

RE: Slicers should auto collapse

This is much needed feature for intuitive UI experience. It would be great if drop down auto closes whenever user moves cursor away (on focus out) from slicer/drop down list.

RE: Slicers should auto collapse

I completely agree. Am building out new BI visuals and have a large number of users who have provided feedback that this is a nuisance to have to click outside to get the drop-downs to close. All have said that auto-close would make a huge difference from a user experience viewpoint.

RE: Slicers should auto collapse

I agree it is a painful thing and the UI less responsive for the user.

RE: Slicers should auto collapse

Imtiaz is right, this is a pain when you switch slicer the previous slicer stayed open where it should close/collapse automatically...
