Create custom groups among dimensions to eliminate the need for complex lookup tables or DAX formulas. (i.e. if you have red, yellow, blue, green, and orange you could select red, yellow, and orange to group them as "warm colors")

RE: Create Custom Groups

Custom Groups are a GREAT feature. Unfortunately, they do not function on my install. I've installed Power BI in two completely different unrelated environments. I've built reports from scratch with new bar graphs, and I've tried it on existing reports. In all cases, when I either right click on two selected bars in the graph or when I try to access the group feature in the attribute in the fields pane, GROUP does not appear as an option. Note: Include/Exclude do appear and function properly. It is only the GROUP feature (and the associated BIN option) that do not show up. What can I do to activate this feature in the new release (October, 2016). note that ALL of the other documented features in October 2016 do appear, and do function as documented. Also, I receive no error messages at all no matter what I do.
