Being able to automatically filter a dashboard based on gps position. A location aware dashboard filter.
Say a company has 100 stores divided by 10 regions, each store has a region manager who weekly visits the store to monitor progress. It would be super awesome if the Power BI dashboard automatically slices the dashboard to the location of the store.

What you are basically asking is for location (to be provided by device) to be a parameter on a query. I think the team is still working on rich parameter support in PBI...

Would centainly be a nice filter! You should be able to do it with the newly announced javascript API (https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/intro-pbi-js-api/)!

Would be even better if you could set a range, e.g. display all stores in a 5 mile radius.
