    For a report stored on the Power BI Report Server that is refreshed automatically, when the PBIX file is downloaded the original is provided. Provide the report with the up-to-date data instead.

    very important, as it makes the download showing incorrect results ...you are not able to download what you see

    Yes, you can download and refresh, but that doesn't work if the downloading user doesn't have access to the source system, and it also means that a downloaded file doesn't contain the same data as what you're seeing on the site so if a number is wrong, you won't know why.

    As once refresh file is downloaded from Report server on the local machine, that file should show the latest data
