Reports should have the ability to display dynamic reports based on the condition.
Should be able to display different number of columns in a power view report based on filters selected. For e.g. when a category is selected as a filter/slicer report should display only salary related columns. similarly when Stock is selected as a filter/slicer only the stock related columns should be displayed.

Hi Firdous, thanks for the suggestion but I'm not sure exactly what you mean here. Can you give some more examples?

RE: Dynamic reports based on filters

My requirement is as follows: I have cases count ,date, country, status. If status value is In progress, opened,on hold this comes under active and if the status value is waiting, cancelled, closed this comes under in active.
I want to prepare a bar chart where i can see the no. of active and inactive cases per country on particular date. Could you help me how dynamically i need to set the status as active and in active.

RE: Dynamic reports based on filters

Hi Will,

There are some times when few columns needs to be displayed/hidden based on the filter selected. For e.g. when I am displaying some discrepancies between two systems A and B based on some category say salary, stocks, Currency etc. When I select the category filter value as Salary Difference only the salary related columns should be displayed. Similarly when I select the category filter value as Stock, only the stock related columns should be displayed (if required)
