For a slicer on a text field, you can enable "Search" on the slicer.
Personally, I would like the "Search" to be enabled, by default. Maybe not everyone does. But what would be great is if we could use our .json custom report theme file to configure whether the "Search" is enabled or disabled, by default.

I know this "Search" option does not (currently) appear as a "card" in the formatting options, for slicers. And custom themes are all about setting the values of those cards.
But maybe this "Search" option should be in a formatting card. Or maybe we should be able to configure it in the custom theme file, even if it isn't in a formatting card.
