We have a data set which pulls data from several objects in Salesforce. Refresh works beautifully in PBI desktop but fails in the PBI service - manual or scheduled refresh. The failure message occurs on different tables and we've determined it's due to the Salesforce limitation that only 10 queries can be run at one time for one user. If the data set goes above 10, you get the infamous "invalid query locator" error message.
Refresh works on the PBI Desktop because you have the ability to disable the "Parallel loading of tables." You don't have the same option in the service.
Microsoft support has advised that they are aware of the issue and it is on their backlog with no ETA of implementation.
Please vote so we can get this implemented! I'm sure others must be having same issue regardless of your data source.
Thanks!

RE: Need option to disable Parallel loading of tables in PBI Service
Hello, Did you get response about this issue?

Any update? It's over a year since I posted this. Refresh of Salesforce data still doesn't work. Why bother having the option if it doesn't work?

Have the same issue. In PowerBI desktop works, but no option in PowerBI service. Please implement this option. Thanks
