    SAP BusinessObjects BI Universe

    All of the current Ideas that mention SAP BusinessObjects BI Universe integration are marked as completed as this feature was offered pre June/July release. This is nearly a critical requirement for adoption in my organization.

    I had previously heard that this was removed due to licencing restrictions, can we get an official response on that? Is there any possibility of this being re-integrated?

    Will there be any future plans from MS to import BO Objects to Power BI, so no need to repeat the already done work in SAP BO

    This is definitly needed for us, we would use Power BI Premium with this connexion.

    We really need this integration - PBI x SAP BO Universe.
    Something to import universes to some structure inside PBI also help us.

    This is a critical requirements for all clients using SAP's BOBJ toolset to utilize universe's semantic layer in power bi instead of re inventing the semantic layer back again in Power BI.

    SAB BO semantic layer is superior than PBI one. However, PBI is more user friendly. It would be such a great partnership. Obviously, neither SAP, nor MS wants to share the cake...
