    Change "Category label" on "Card"

    While you can turn on/off the "category label" on a card, you can't change its text, which would be desirable (title makes less sense here).

    Rename the category field in the fields section of the views pane. Not the main field.

    This is urgently needed. Renaming the values is not an option when you want to label your category in an other language than english: Standard deviation of xyz is to long and sometimes not understandable for end users.

    Please add this.

    i tend to turn off category label and add a text box with a "title"

    Try right-clicking on the field in the Values section and renaming it to what you want as a label
