    Download PBIX file from Power BI Online even when not an owner of the Workspace

    Users of my reports have requested they wish to download the PBIX files from Power BI Online, even when they're not owners of the Workspace. It is currently only possible to download the PBIX file when you are an owner of the Workspace hosting the reports.

    We are having an issue where we as a PBI service admin were trying to export the report from other user's my workspace and we were getting unauthorized error through PowerShell. We think that this option must be possible at-least with global admin as if more employee leaves the organization and we want to migrate our tenant, then we can't reset password for each user and publish the report on shared workspace. This will be really time consuming.

    We have the same issue. We don't want to give admin privileges to the users who would potentially create some reports. We just need to give them the ability to download the .pbix from the app in the service.
