    It's difficult to distinguish borders with the filled map visual when they have the same color

    I think its not difficult but impossible to distinguish borders. Please implement border options.

    Agreed. A simple solution would be to display the border as a different color than the fill colors.

    conversely, a setting to remove native layers (like getting rid of forests and roads)
