    allow PowerBI to use SAML based authentication towards Sharepoints to better integrate with SharePoint in OnPremise and Cloud/Azure hosted Environments that use Federation.

    Power BI Desktop ignores the FEDSVC Redirects. If an IE browser based logon could be integrated as optional to connect to Sharepoints an implementation could leverage existing work ;-)
