Give me the basic ability to find out where my datasets and reports came from. Currently, after you upload a pbix to the service you can get no information about it. It might as well have come from the moon.

"Settings are not available for datasets that did not come from a file."

How is that helpful?

Seriously, can we get some basic management capabilities?

It is very key thing to have lineage to put governance around information assets.

I agree that understanding the source of data enhances a user's ability to trust and use the data in the right way.

This is such a foundational thing for any mature BI tool. It's hard to believe that in 2017 MS is providing a product without some of these basic management/insight capabilities.
