A Mekko is a two-dimensional stacked chart. In addition to the varying segment heights of a regular stacked chart, a Mekko chart also has varying column widths. Column widths are scaled such that the total width matches the desired chart width.

RE: MEKKO CHART

Team, this would be a game changer for Power BI. I work in consulting and am trying to get my team to adopt this, but without the change described here we can't use it for anything.

RE: MEKKO CHART

Agree with more recent comments ... this visual has limited utility without the functionality to scale the Y Axis - similar to a Stacked Column chart... Please add soon!

RE: MEKKO CHART

I am having the same constraint with the Y axis as Josh. Rather than force the Y axis to a 100%, the actual values should be the height of the bars. Are there any plans for this version of Mekko chart?

RE: MEKKO CHART

Not sure of the use of this visual if you cannot control both axis. Need to be able to adjust the Y axis so not 100% values, so the height can be adjusted.

RE: MEKKO CHART

Can we get it without the forced 100% for column height?

RE: MEKKO CHART

Not quite what I was looking for. The heights are forced to 100%. Is there any plans to add the functionality of using the y axis values. RE: MEKKO CHART

This is exactly what I need! In my economic models I use this style of chart to communicate pricing strategies against competitors.

To have the ability to select a column in excel that would dictate the height (cost) and a second column to dictate the width (capacity) then overlay lines so that I could communicate where the market is now and where my estimates show it will be would be a tremendous help. Right now I have to create the charts manually and this would save me so much time!

RE: MEKKO CHART

It would be nice to have the Mekko as a 100% chart and a normal Mekko chart.
