Love the new custom visualizations but it gets old having to deal with the warning. Is there a way to suppress this after the first time?

Hi everyone. We've added an option to turn off the warning for custom visuals. You'll find it under the Security tab of the Options dialog. You can also remove unwanted visuals from your report by clicking the ... in the Visualizations pane and selecting 'Delete a Custom Visual'. I see some other comments about a organizational visual gallery, we're considering those for future work but please create a new suggestion for it!

Awesome!!!!! Now, if only we could get SSRS to support Power BI reports, Microsoft would rule the reporting world.

This feature - and others related suggestions below - are a basic requirement to get PBI acceptance.

We need ways to manage custom visuals before it can be used in production :
1) A library divided by type of chart, publisher, version, etc.
2) A way to manage visuals in power bi (folders)
3) Way to add/remove as needed from reports and app
4) How to identify new versions and/or easy way to be 'alerts'ed when new version of existing visual is available.

Better yet, give network admins the ability to disable custom visuals entirely - or only importable from a trusted source. There is no way we would deploy Power BI in my organization unless we could lock this one down.

RE: enable custom visualization warning supression.

Hi folks, thanks for the feedback on this. We've been working on a couple other improvements in the Custom Visuals space recently to keep you safe (see Lukasz's blog post 2 weeks ago). We're trying to get to this as soon as we can to make this better for everyone! We'll circle back and keep you posted as soon as we have more info on this!

RE: enable custom visualization warning supression.

I love the openness to allow new visualizations but pleas at least in the next update, allow us to remove customer visualizations to avoid the custom visualization warning, the arning should only appear if any are in use, but since I cannot remove them once added, it puts me in an awkward spot, look forward to any enhancements here as we are showcasing PowerBI to our client base this April.

Reports containing custom visuals do not shows up in web application. Gives 401 un authorized error . Though out of the box visual are working fine any ideas ?
