Would like the addition of a built-in visualization for variable width bar charts. None of the current visuals appear to have the ability to alter the width of the bars.
Coding such a chart in R is a modest undertaking with the help of the below walkthrough, but well beyond a basic PowerBI user. It would be great if this one were included as part of the base package of visuals, or available as a custom visual from the MS Store.

Completely 2nd this! A Variable Width Bar Chart in PowerBI is what I need, but can't get. Example: viewing a set of prices from high to low (make it sortable), with bar width demonstrating 2nd variable, i.e. how much of the total volume that price takes up.

Yes something like y axis denotes price, x axis has sales volume, and there is each bar graph for each country,
Where width of bar graph for each country will denote total sales, and height of the bar will denote average price for the product. (We should be able to sort these in ascending order of height)

This is an awesome feature to add to the bar chart visual. Its like an X-Factor to the normal bar chart and makes the chart more powerful than the standard version.

U think it is really necessary, while Tableau has so many features for Bar charts and Column charts, Power BI doesn't.
