reduce space taken by borders and header on visualisations

When dealing with small visualisation the space taken by the header section of the visualisation border means many items overlap and you cannot interact with them properly. There is often too much padding around the visualisations as well.

I propose tight borders with minimal or no whitespace around the content and intead of the really small and faint drill down / up expand etc options you have a office mobile type dial pop up top right of the visual when you hover over or select it.
