Row level security makes it hard to hide EVERYTHING from a specific user login having the page/Tab secuirty within Power BI for different user Login would be very helpful
For Example: something like USERPRINCIPALNAME () which would be dynamic for different user login to hide and show pages that would act as Page/Tab Level Security.

RE: Page/Tab Level Security
Not having this makes access an administrative nightmare. An alternative solution would be allowing multiple apps created per workspace.
With the requirement to have one workspace per app and then not allowing ability to have group security added to dashboards / reports/ tabs then you effectively require us to build a workspace per user group so that each user group can have access to the proper content.
RE: Page/Tab Level Security
Two major gaps, 1: We cannot create multiple Apps in a single workspace, 2: We do not have PLS - leads to increbible amount of works especially when you have number of users and each users needs to be restricted based on contents. If we have PLS at least at first, it will reduce our efforts overwhelmingly! I'm sure the team is working something big! Thank you :)
RE: Page/Tab Level Security
Would be a great benefit for us. It is clunky and error prone to run parallel reports off the same dataset with one missing pages.
RE: Page/Tab Level Security
This function is a needed feature! This would reduce the need for multiple files to visual the same data for different roles
RE: Page/Tab Level Security
Needed feature!
RE: Page/Tab Level Security
This is a great suggestion. Like others, I am having to split the file into multiple files referring to the same dataset to control access via sharing. I am not a particularly experienced Power BI developer and when I started looking into the user access control I found it complicated and quickly gave up.
RE: Page/Tab Level Security
Must have functionality for external partner reports to restrict who should see what
RE: Page/Tab Level Security
Page level security is really necessary at least for published applications!!
RE: Page/Tab Level Security
needed badly. without it, we have to create multiple datasets that all draw the same data, just to display on 2 different pages in the report.
RE: Page/Tab Level Security
Currently we have to use alternative solutions to do this whihc all cause extra maintenance work are otherwise unoptimal
