Axis label filter / slicer.
It would be helpful to be able to select an axis label and have it function like selecting a bar or column.
Particularly when you have a legend, your current filter only allows the filtering of one of the legend values, but sometimes I want to be able to filter all values for a given axis label.
In my specific example, I have an axis label of supplier, with a legend showing shipments on time and those late. Currently, I can filter on-time or late for a given supplier, but I can't filter all for that supplier (both on-time and late)

This seems like it should be an easy update. This is a huge hassle otherwise. I must click every segment of the bar to filter the other visuals by the label or add an additional slicer into the report...what a waste!

Are there any updates on this feature? It would be awesome if any categorical variable added to an axis could be used as a slicer.

This is a much needed feature! That will give a lot back for endusers!

I want this as well, but for other reasons. It would be great for small values (ones that are hard to click with a mouse and even harder with a phone/tablet). Clicking on the axis value give a better clickable area when the bar chart, pie slice, or any other reporting area is really small.

Heartily agreed. We have distinctions between new and renewal business, and it would be helpful to click on the region axis lable to slice to both for the region, where on the bar chart, stacked or not, we can only slice to one of the two.
Then I could use the bar chart as a replacement for the slicer, instead of losing the ability to slice to region if I do that.
