Let's say you have a line chart that charts a network's overall availability and you want its availability to be above the threshold of 99.5%. Currently you chart this an include a threshold line of 99.5%. But how about having a visual similar to the waterfall? In other words... scrap the threshold line but have a setting of where you want the line to change color. For my example I would want the line to be GREEN whenever it is above 99.5% and red or black below 99.5%. This will create a cleaner looking line chart. Make sense at all? I sure hope so.

RE: multicolor line chart

I would want this to make periods of time different colors that correspond with promotion dates.

RE: multicolor line chart

Please look at implementation of flow chart. This visual has a column parameter for line width and for color-range.

RE: multicolor line chart

This basically will show whether goal was met or not within the line chart. (without the need of a goal line). It's like a KPI line chart. We need this for many of our visuals. The closest example to this can be found in the Power KPI Matrix visual. In the trend column on the example file. However, this visual is very difficult to configure without spending much time to understand how it even works. All you really need are the same fields as the line chart and then a target field. Then within the format pane, configure the target for green and red.
