"Images" (in this case a company logo.bmp) are not rendering properly in Power BI Service but are rendering properly in Desktop

I added a BMP image to a report in PBI Desktop. It looked great and the display did not degrade the image (a company logo) at all. However, when I published the report to the PBI service, that same image had heavily degraded. This is the only way to get images onto reports in the PBI service. Can this process be fixed to not degrade images added in Desktop? (I can send examples if needed)

I am also waiting for the solution. Is there any workaround for this?
