Don't execute data source R scripts when the query editor is opened

Please please please please stop automatically executing R scripts that are set as data sources when the query editor is opened and the particular data source (that has an R script as the source) is selected.

I really need this to happen. I've resorted to opening up the task manager and killing "R for Windows Front End" processes whenever I interact with data sources from R in the query editor. File corruption is real!

My preference would be for the script to run ONLY when "close & apply" is clicked (if I changed the script) or the "refresh" button is clicked. Running the script when the data source is selected (in the query editor) and also when the script is edited makes Power BI open up multiple "R for Windows Front End" processes, which I can only assume is Power BI running the same script in parallel. I've had files corrupted because of this.
