    You just added this feature to slicers/tables but forgotten about matrix tables..

    So, I just voted on this, but then found that if you click on the three dots in the upper right of the matrix visualization in Power BI desktop, you can select sort by > and then select the column value that you would like to sort on, then you can toggle between sort ascending, or sort descending, and voila! Exactly what I needed.

    This is very basic and always is expected by stakeholders whenever we display Matrix tables.

    NEED drag and drop functionality like Tableau/pivotables. VERY basic feature.
