Power BI offers Publishing, which is a great way to embed a chart into your website or SharePoint site, however, the downfall for those that have security concerns is that it's not secure and everything is out there to the world. Hello World.
While there is a Dashboard Sharing process, it's not as effective in terms of embedding into an application, and so yes you can share, but the medium for sharing is not preferred.
Can Publishing be secured, it's a great feature, lacks security.

RE: Secure Publishing
I agree that there needs to be a halfway house between publish to the world and the power bi pro license which only a few can have.
What about a Power BI Lite license where the person can only view the data once a day/week/month?
RE: Secure Publishing
We publish dashboards to our intranet (SharePoint) and I hate that it's out there for the world. What makes it worse is that someone internal can click on a button below the visual to share on FaceBook or Twitter - this is a feature that I'd like to disable for most if not all of my visuals.
RE: Secure Publishing
MS,
This is extremely important. We need the convenience of Publish to Web. But there NEEDS to be security.
Even as simple as - password to view would be amazing.
RE: Secure Publishing
Agree. The tenant level on/off switch for Publish to Web is not practical in any large organisation where you want to apply any form of governance to what can be published.
"Publish to Web" should be securable at an individual/AD Group level
RE: Secure Publishing
Added a vote. It would be nice to limit who can publish by security group, not unlike the current "Share Content With External Users" feature.
