The non-profit Health Center community depends heavily on federal grants that must be carefully documented and supported by the most accurate and current data available. This would include the ability to plot census tracts and other such geo-spacial information accurately. While other BI solutions that I have tried don not have that capability by default, there are some rather complex workarounds that can be leveraged. If Power BI could include this capability by default, that would make it an absolute winner in the field.

RE: Make Power BI Mapping Interact With Census Tracts
This would be a game changer.

Agree!
RE: Make Power BI Mapping Interact With Census Tracts
Not just census tracts - block groups and blocks, too. And potentially MSAs - whatever geometries census data comes in.
RE: Make Power BI Mapping Interact With Census Tracts
I would like to tie the data with the census tract(reference layer) or identify the census tract in a specific geodata type (like identify the zipcode) because I would to visualize the data by census tract.

Mapping census tracts would be a great addition, particularly within the ESRI arcgis plugin
