Currently in the Power BI service, there are 0 options in date filters outside of selecting date/time and doing "before", "after", "between". Need filters like "Last 7 days" or "Yesterday" or "Last month". This way a user does not need to manually change a filter if they only want to see a report for "yesterday", as it will always show "yesterday".

This is such a basic and necessary function, it boggles my mind that it isn't available yet.

Defintely need this because some time the "is in the last" 1 day does not work especially towards the end of the current day.

I added 3 votes, as I am having the same problem. I wanted to see only the last 2 months of data from the current date and I could not do so, until I changed the filter everyday. It would be great if Microsoft would provide this filtering.

RE: Improve Power BI service date filters

This is a terrific idea (added 3 votes of my own). We often design reports that are meant to live for a long period of time untouched, yet need to show current/recent data. Without a filter like described above (i.e. within X days/hours/months/quarters/years/etc. of NOW) the report either has to be constantly refreshed OR measures/columns need to be defined on the data that are constantly re-calculated. The latter approach is not scale-able as users often want to change the filter, but can't necessarily adjust DAX or do not have access to the source systems.
