    Allow queries to be marked as processing steps, so that they are not exposed outside of the Query editor window

    It would be good to be able to mark some queries as processing steps, so they are not even seen outside of the query editor, in addition to the option to hide queries when in the relationship view
    I don't need to define relationships on them or perform analysis with them as the query containing the end result is used for this purpose

    You already can: Turn off the "Enable Load" option in the context menu after right-clicking on the query in the left pane of the Query Editor. That will not store the query's output, nor show it in the report view.
