The new Export to PDF is a fantastic addition to the Desktop Client. One thing I hope will come soon is the support for backgrounds(https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-export-to-pdf). Today we have stock Power Point files that we modeled in PowerBI. We leverage our corporate themes leveraging the background function. When exporting to PDF it attempts to export the page with a background but often times the page is zoomed in cutting off portions of the slide. It was listed as a limitation but would be great if that was addressed. I think we could all agree foundationally a PDF export should look identical to the screen we are looking at in PowerBI. It would be nice to have more interactivity and automation for different export options as well. But with the slides exporting in a cut-off state that is a deal breaker for the feature. I have an active support case open and they are telling me it is due to backgrounds. I tested no backgrounds and had the same problem from time to time. I am not convinced the export is wallpaper related based on my testing. We have other reports not experiencing the export issues with and without backgrounds.
