    SharePoint list as data source from Power BI Online

    I know this is possible from Power BI Desktop, but it causes a disjointed user experience where customer has an application on SharePoint and needs to go to Power BI desktop for analysis. Would be great to access SharePoint list data from online version of Power BI.

    As of, at least, 09/2019: you can do this using the SharePoint Online List connector or with the SharePoint.List () function in your query.

    However, Microsoft Power BI Support confirmed you cannot refresh the published report on the Power BI Service. Attempts to schedule it will also fail.
