Allow the ability to combine files/binaries in Dataflows as you can do in the desktop version.

RE: Combine Files/Binaries in Dataflows

Might a workaround be possible by hacking the query M code of the custom function for combining files into the main query M code in the dataflow? Saying it another way: copy & paste the main query code from the Desktop advanced editor to the dataflow, copy the query code from the custom function for combining files from the Desktop advanced editor and somehow work it into the main M code in the dataflow.

RE: Combine Files/Binaries in Dataflows

Every single time I've wanted to use Dataflows, it has broken down on this issue.

If the data was already in SQL or similar, I wouldn't bother with the palaver of a dataflow. But when the data is in 100 monster CSV files in a SharePoint library that are mostly static/historical, imagine how effective a Dataflow could be.

It's really frustrating...

RE: Combine Files/Binaries in Dataflows

This is a pretty big feature that is missing from Dataflows!
