Allow me to utilize SSRS PowerView just like I can with Excel PowerView and pin reports to the dashboard, however with SSRS, I would like to connect to on-prem data sources

Hi Doug, thanks for the suggestion. We have another suggestion for connections to on-prem data sources. Can you elaborate on the SSRS Power View requirement? Do you need to upload existing rdlx reports?

I also need that filter. When I see the dashboards from the mobile devices, I cannot filter.

I expect this functionality would come in Power BI bundle, it is the key feature in the reporting/Dashboards.

I agree that this would be nice. First we need dashboard visuals to exactly match the base visual. Right now some of my charts are cut off, which makes them look very misleading when you look at them on the dashboard!

RE: PowerView rdlx connecting to on-prem data source

Why in the world would you have this functionality available in Excel (ability to connect slicers with reports) and then not include it in Power BI when it is supposed to be your combination of all previous BI solutions? Yes, please add this. Otherwise as others have said this is a fairly useless tool.

Tried the Power BI, it is awesome! Agreed that if slicer can be added, that will provide the infinite possibilities for business insight. Can't wait to see this happening.

RE: PowerView rdlx connecting to on-prem data source

This is one of the major concerns that our clients have when we propose the idea of using Dashboards. Adding global filter will definitely help a lot.
