Allow me to utilize SSRS PowerView just like I can with Excel PowerView and pin reports to the dashboard, however with SSRS, I would like to connect to on-prem data sources

Hi Doug, thanks for the suggestion. We have another suggestion for connections to on-prem data sources. Can you elaborate on the SSRS Power View requirement? Do you need to upload existing rdlx reports?

This is absolutely critical - we have a client waiting on this before adopting PowerBI.

This feature is the most important in all other suggestions! If this was implemented Power BI will definitely beat other visualization tools

RE: PowerView rdlx connecting to on-prem data source

This is a requirement for our business and is why we're hesitating to use Power BI. Perhaps I'm missing something but can someone elaborate more on how Power BI markets that the dashboards are interactive but they just seem to be display data from reports. Can't really interact with the data at the dashboard level. From what I read, one needs to go to the report level.

Any idea when a dashboard filter may be implemented?

RE: PowerView rdlx connecting to on-prem data source

A customer of ours is asking why this was possible in Excel but not in Power BI. They are also comparing it with what Qlik has been able to do for ages already. Please implement this ASAP...
