    Drill down on axis in dashboard without having to enter into the report itself

    You can pin live report pages to dashboard if you want this functionality, or use a report instead.

    This post was created in 2015, and I still cannot drill down in Dashboard. When I create dashboards for clients and they have to navigate to the Report to drill down, just doesn't make sense. Make the drill down available in Dashboard like it is in Report.

    While you are at it, please add the ability to Pin a filter to the Dashboard. As of now I cannot pin a filter to the dashboard, probably same reason I cannot drill down.

    Kindly provide Drill Down option in Dashboard Soon. Able to drill down at Report level alone.

    It is probably time to ditch the dashboard altogether. Navigation is much more fluid with the report tabs as opposed to vertical scrolling from one page to the next on the dashboard.

    Any idea when this will be available? We haven't presented Power BI to the Exec team yet and need this feature to sell it to them.

    Agree with the need to share at the report level, but ideally users should be able to drill from the dashboard with 1 click. It currently takes 3 clicks to drill down:
    1) Click dashboard to get to report
    2) Click arrow to enable drill mode
    3) Click a data point to drill.
    It would be great if we could pin the tile with drill mode enabled in the dashboard, as this would reduce the number of clicks by 2. Alternatively, sharing the report would also be good and would eliminate step 1 above.

    Please add this feature! I just learned how to drill down in reports but reports cannot be shared, just dashboards.

    Is there any way to share the reports?
