Add a Filter Pane in reports published to web to let users apply filters to all the pages.
It would be great if Quick Insights would work on a data set that's not in the PowerBI service. For example a direct query using a live connection.
Would be very useful to access more than one dataset from a report (for example one real time dataset and another with historic data)
Currently only GET requests are supported as data source. A 3rd party systems use POST request to provide data.
A connector for Posgresql data base would be a plus really usefull.
It would be awesome with a way to set filters in a report based on the viewers Account ID. This would work very well with another suggestion to have a global/Dashboard_level slicer.
Excel has both Power Query and VBA. It would powerful to also have a programming language and interface for PowerBI Desktop to help in auto generation of M Language queries and also interacting with the report and dashboard objects. This could be using TypeScript so you have the custom vis...
Python is actually in version 3, which I use. But a lot of people are still using Python 2 as some libs are not yet ported. It would be great if you can support both. Please note that Python 2 and 3 are not 100% syntax compatible.
It would be great to lock images so that I can put an object above an image without sending it behind it (hidden)
If i chose the visualisation interaction to be filter instead of a highlight, then as soon as I hold the CTRL key to multi-select the visual which was filtered, it goes back to displaying all items(i.e. becomes unfiltered again)
