With today's release of the Power BI Desktop, you can now change the color of your font in textboxes. Read all about it in our blog post: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-march-feature-summary/#textbox If you were looking for the background color of the textbox, you can change this in the formatting pane.

Definitely useful !
RE: Font Color and background color in Text Box
My workaround at the moment is to create a hi-res shape with matched hex / RGB colour in Word - with typed in text. Then paste as picture, Save As and drop into relevant report as title.
But yes, please include as a feature ASAP.
Thanks.
RE: Font Color and background color in Text Box
My workaround is to leave the text box empty and use the title only. the title font and background color can then be managed
RE: Font Color and background color in Text Box
It will be much appreciated once this is updated! Thank you in advance!

Normally I would say "well done, great news, fantastic work", etc but unfortunately this is not the case this time as this has been long overdue, and it should have been part of the product from the start. "A glaring omission" as Mr McNamara has put so eloquently :)
